Zipteams, a leading conversational intelligence platform for inside sales and customer success teams, today announced the successful closing of a $700,000 seed funding led by IndiaQuotient and a group of angel investors. Zipteams uses AI to make customer conversations more contextual, engaging, and fruitful by empowering sales teams to bring the right data points to their customers when they need it.
Sales teams today rely on CRMs for context and customer data, however, today they are more constrained than allowed with CRMs due to the manual nature of data entry. Zipteams will make $145 billion CRM investments more profitable by automatically capturing customer data right at the source where the conversations are happening.
The funding will allow Zipteams to further invest in its unique concept of intelligent digital salesrooms that have the ability to leverage data and bring real-time customer insights to inside sales and customer success teams during virtual meetings. The company will look to bolster engineering and machine learning teams to improve product offerings and is looking to achieve significant user growth in India and US markets over the next 12-15 months. IndiaQuotient’s experience with an extensive network of successful product companies will help Zipteams make strategic go-to-market decisions to achieve exponential product-driven growth.
