Triditive raises €5m in pre-Series A funding round

Triditive, a Spanish company specialized in the automation of additive manufacturingsecured €5 million in a pre-Series A funding round. The capital injection was led by a notable Spanish industrial group.

Triditive’s objective in this new phase is to continue the development of additive manufacturing automation – enabling its industrial deployment and production ramp-up, thus positioning itself as the key technology that provides a rapid response to crises. of the supply chain and promotes local manufacturing.

Triditive was incorporated in 2016 in Asturias, Spain, and patented its AMCELL printer, the first industrial 3D printer capable of mass-producing components using metals or polymers – making the AMCELL printer one of the solutions the fastest for large-scale production. Triditive is the only European company focused on the automation of additive manufacturing. This is not the first funding round raised by Triditive. In Triditive’s previous seed round, the company secured investments from industry leaders such as Stanley Ventures, Techstars, and Hunosa Empresas, among others. This latest investment round makes Triditive the largest additive manufacturing company to raise capital in Spain, raising 8 million euros in investments to date.

Triditive is among the top 10 European 3D printing startups in terms of private investment. The company has received numerous global accolades and awards and has additional offices in the UK and USA. Recently, the company inaugurated its headquarters, a 2000 m2 manufacturing facility in Asturias, Spain, where the company develops its proprietary technology.

According to the Bank of Spain, the supply chain crisis will lead to losses for the Spanish economy of up to 16 billion euros. Dependence on distant suppliers and global transportation issues are driving increasing demand for changing consumption patterns. As we already know, this is where companies like Triditive and technologies like AM thrive, enabling localized production.
