Finger Lakes Community College received federal funding of $523,700 intended to cover most or all of the costs for people who want to train for careers in manufacturing, construction, information technology and nursing health.
The funding comes from the Reimagine Workforce Preparation Training program, intended to encourage people to pursue careers in high-demand fields without going into debt. The duration of the training programs varies from six weeks to nine months.
