Funding available for local nonprofits through the Community Foundation – Muddy River News


QUINCY – Local nonprofits seeking to grow their programming, expand their mission, and improve their communities are invited and encouraged to apply for funding through the Community Foundation Serving West Central Illinois annual competitive grant program and Northeast Missouri. The deadline to submit grant applications is 11:45 p.m. on June 1.

Grants are awarded for charitable purposes to organizations that have IRS 501(c)(3) classification or are government entities. Projects must serve in the Community Foundation service area of ​​Adams, Brown, Hancock, and Pike counties in Illinois; and Clark, Knox, Lewis, Marion, Monroe, Pike, Ralls, and Shelby counties in Missouri.

Grants for arts and culture, community enhancement, education, health and social services are up to $7,500 for program/project support and up to $2,500 for applications general support. Grants will be awarded in mid-August.
